Four male suspects aged between 28 and 53 years old, made a brief court appearance at Kimberley Magistrates’ Court after they were arrested on Wednesday, 19 September 2018 for armed robbery.
It is alleged that in 2015, the suspects robbed a well known jewellery store in Kimberly at gunpoint. The jewellery stolen was amounting to an estimated value of R 240 000-00.
The arrest and recovery of the jewellery was the result of a lengthy ongoing investigation led by the Kimberley Trio Crime section.
The four suspects from Kuruman were each granted bail and are expected to appear before Court again on 23 October 2018.
