2 Escapees re-arrested, Kuruman correctional services

On Sunday 26 January 2020, the determination of members from Kimberley POPS, Kimberley Flying Squad, Kimberley Detectives, Kuruman K9 unit, the Kuruman Neighbourhood Watch and personnel from Kuruman Correctional Services led to the re-arrest of convicts, namely Nico De Koker and Tlotlo Ntwayagae.

The two convicts escaped on Friday, 24 January 2020 from the Kuruman Correctional facility.

Nico de Koker was arrested on Saturday, 25 January 2020 at approximately 18:45 while at a hiking spot close to the Kuruman Correctional facility.

Tlotlo Ntwayagae was apprehended on Sunday, 26 January 2020 at his girlfriend’s house while hiding under the bed.

The Provincial Head of ORS, Brigadier Monica Sebili applauded the members for their determination in re-arresting the two convicts and ensuring that they are re-incarcerated.
