2 Dealers nabbed with R200k worth of drugs, Kimberley

The Northern Cape Provincial Organised Crime Detectives and members of the Northern Cape Provincial Corporate Communication busted two drug peddlers and recovered drugs worth R200 000.

The two were arrested on Sunday, 17 May 2020 at approximately 14:00 on Camm Street, Rhosdene in Kimberley. The suspects were spotted driving a silver grey Toyota Run X, along Long Street. The police followed the suspects and searched them at their residence in Camm Street.

During the search, the police found the suspects in possession of drugs such as crystal meth, cat, mandrax tablets and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The duo are expected to appear before the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 18 May 2020, on a charge of dealing in drugs.

The Northern Cape Police Management applauded the members for their vigilance by removing drugs off the streets.
