The Suspects Tracing Operation in Roodepan today, 14 September 2018, had an impact when 16 wanted suspects were brought to book.

The tracing operation, which was carried out at pre dawn earlier today, saw suspects wanted for offenses ranging from robbery, possession of drugs, malicious damage to property, contravention of protection order to burglary business behind bars.

Brigadier Dick De Waal from Provincial Crime Detection, emphasized that operations for tracing suspects are in full swing. He emphasized that similar operations will be the order of the day throughout the Northern Cape Province.

The arrested suspects are expected to appear before the local Magistrates Court on Monday, 17 September 2018.

Brigadier de Waal has appealed to members of the community to assist with information about wanted suspects by contacting the police on 086 00 10 111 or sms to 32211 or by contacting the local police.
