A 20-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries when she was attacked at her house on a farm in Palmietfontein outside of Klerksdorp, North West yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 4pm, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the farm where they found the police already in attendance. The woman was found outside the house along with members of the police. She sustained injuries when she was apparently kicked and thrown onto the floor. Paramedics assessed her and treated her for injuries where after she was transported to a hospital in the area for further treatment.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known. Local authorities will investigate.
