Police in Klerksdorp nabbed two suspects aged 24 and 26 in connection with house breaking and theft incident which occurred at a restaurant, in N12 Klerksdorp on the morning of 5 February 2018, at about 04:00.

The suspects’ apprehension came after police received a tip off about a White Mazda Midge 323 which was standing at the garage and with suspicious people a leaving Wimpy at the rear entrance carrying a bag.

The Police responded swiftly and found the said vehicle leaving the garage. They stopped and searched the vehicle which had two occupants. They found gloves in the suspects possession as well as an undisclosed amount of cash lying around in the vehicle which the driver could not account for.

Upon interrogation the suspects confessed that they took TV’s to the open veld near Wimpy.

The police proceeded to the veld where the two TV’s were indeed found together with items and two bags containing liquor and coins.The two suspects further confessed that they stole money at Wimpy and shared it amongst themselves.

The two suspects are currently behind bars and are expected to appear before Klerksdorp Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 6 February 2018 to face charges of house breaking and theft.
