The vehicle that was robbed during a farm attack at Nooitgedacht, Zeerust has been recovered.
The attack took place on 1 May 2018 at 02:50 and information was scarce. The lookout given for the vehicle resulted in it being found in Boitekong, Rustenburg.
Danie Booysen (70) was alone at home when he was attacked by three Afrikaans speaking black males. They broke down the security gate to his room that also leads outside. He was viciously attacked, kicked, beaten and tied up with electrical cable.
Although he was severely beaten, his injuries are not very serious.
The attackers fled with his cell phone, bakkie and other items. No arrests have been made.
