Two men in court for theft of goods worth R70,000

Two men were expected to appear in the Brits Magistrate’s Court on Monday for the possession of stolen property worth R70,000, North West police said.

Lt-Col Pelonomi Makau said the suspected burglars aged 24 and 30 were nabbed on Friday in Bethanie, after they were found in possession of suspected stolen items that included plasma televisions, computers, a monitor, computer accessories and a refrigerator.

Police suspect the items were burgled.
