The three murders of Hannes Christie (65) from Coligny were each released on R1800 bail in the town’s magistrates court.
Danny Melato, Thabiso Tierman and Attie Seripe must appear in court again on May 21, 2018 for murder and robbery.
Hannes was attacked on the family farm at the end of February 2018, and hit a sharp object (panga) over his head. He was alone during the attack.
His workers suspected something after the sliding door was found open. Three firearms were stolen.
