A suspect was killed early this morning in a farm attack on Viljoenskroon Road in Roodekraal, outside of Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found local authorities already in attendance.
Paramedics were lead into the home where they found the body.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that one suspect had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and showed no signs of life. The suspect was declared dead.
It is understood that an unknown number of gunmen entered the home. The homeowner then apparently opened fire, killing the one.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
