The fight against trio crimes gained success on Thursday, 12 July 2018, when John Pagara (36), Tebogo Pakwe (20) and Shaun Galeboe (19) appeared in the Taung Magistrates’ Court on charges of burglary business and possession of suspected stolen goods.

The accused were granted R500, 00 bail each and their case was postponed until Wednesday, 29 August 2018.

Their court appearance stems from their arrest after an intelligence driven operation was conducted on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 regarding information that the accused were in possession of suspected stolen tablets and computers’ Central Processing Units (CPUs).

During the operation and intensive investigation by the Taung and Christiana detectives, the following goods were found after a house was searched at Utlwanang location, Christiana.

18 x tablets, 1 x electric heater, 2 x laptops, seven cell phones chargers, 1 x 20m electric extension cord, and 2 x CPU boxes, all worth R65 000,00.

The accused were then arrested after failing to account for the goods. Preliminary investigation linked the properties to a burglary that was committed at a school in Matsheng village in June this year.
