The South African Police Service (SAPS) in North West has arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a murder, attempted murder, and arson incident that took place in Mogwase earlier this month.
Following thorough investigations, the suspect was traced and apprehended on Monday, 30 March 2026, in the Zeerust area. The arrest was carried out through a coordinated operation involving detectives, the K9 unit, and crime prevention units.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Mogwase Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, facing charges of murder, attempted murder, and malicious damage to property.
