A family has been terribly traumatised after a violent farm attack on a farm in Boshoek outside Rustenburg in the North West.
The attack took place at about 03:00 on the morning of 23 April 2018. Three armed blacks surprised a 26 year old man while he was asleep in bed. His pregnant wife, one year old child and another eleven year old child were tied up with wire.
Two .22 firearms, money and cellphones were robbed during the ordeal. The attackers inflicted serious injuries on the family. After the attackers left the wife managed to get free and summon help.
There is no further information at this stage and names have been withheld at this point.
The police are on the scene investigating.
