A man (35) was shot in the face on Monday 4 November 2019, as he was passing an armed robbery that was taking place at the post office in Mabeskraal, North West province. He then managed to drive himself to Rietfontein clinic in Mabalstad that was 20 kilometers away. When he arrived he passed out and was then rushed by air ambulance to a hospital in Centurion.
The man is in a stable condition in the Unitas hospital. The police are investigating the robbery that took place but there have been no arrests.
