In Rustenburg, a Nigerian foreign national was allegedly attacked by unknown people on 14 February 2018 at about 11:00 at his hair salon.
The attackers allegedly poured petrol over him and stabbed him with a knife in the shoulder.
Despite being attacked with bottles, the police managed to rescue the victim before he was set alight. No one has been arrested and investigation into the matter continues.
