Three patients died in the Mafikeng provincial hospital as a result of the strike by Nehawu members.
The health minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, visited the hospital but so far no one has been held responsible for the deaths.
These and other hospitals in the province are being severely affected by the ongoing strike by Nehawu members over the past two months.
