Unannounced visits to 100 Police Stations on Mandela Day by Minister Cele and SAPS top management in commemorating Centenary celebrations. Minister of Police, Mr Bheki Cele accompanied by National and Provincial management led by National Police Commissioner, General Kehla Sitole are visiting the province.

The activities of the day include visits to identified police stations in the province as part of unannounced visits to 100 police stations in line with Centenary celebration of Mandela Day.

The activities include clearing of crime hotspot areas near Olympia Park Stadium, handing of hampers to the identified needy elderlies and imbizo at Boitekong Community Hall.

The North West Premier, Prof Job Mokgoro, the MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Dr Motlhabane and the Executive Mayor of Rustenburg Local Municipality, Cllr Khunou are also participating in the activities.

The entourage is currently at Tlhabane Police Station.
