The MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Sello Lehari is to lead an engagement on Stock Theft with farmers in the Ngaka Modiri Modiri Molema District. The engagement is part of ongoing community dialogue programmes which the MEC has been leading in various municipalities in line with the District Development Model (DDM) to strengthen government’s impact on service delivery initiatives.
The engagement, will target all farmers within the district to deal with the challenges encountered around stock theft, which often pose a threat to the livelihood of many particularly in rural areas. To this end, the platform will be an opportunity to ventilate sustainable ways to deal with the challenges.
