A 54-year-old man has been stabbed to death in Mogopela village near Pudimoe, North West police said on Sunday.
Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said a 39-year-old man allegedly stabbed the older man with a knife in the neck on Saturday.
“According to information, the suspect searched for a 54-year-old man after being informed that his girlfriend and the man had an argument earlier. Upon seeing the man, he allegedly assaulted and stabbed him with a knife on the neck. The victim was certified dead at the scene by emergency medical response services.”
The man handed himself over to the police and was due to appear in the Taung Magistrate’s Court on Monday, Moleko said.
