A man was left critically injured on the morning of 4 July 2017 when he was stabbed outside a restaurant on Steve Biko Street in Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 10h05, finding a man lying on the pavement outside of a restaurant.
The man was assessed and found to have sustained a stab wound to his chest, leaving him in a critical condition. Paramedics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to Potchefstroom provincial Hospital for urgent treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
