Late last night, Saturday, February 25, Mr. Dave Hough and family of Rietvalley Zeerust district was attacked and assaulted by unknown suspects.
The suspects assaulted Mr. Hough, tied up the residents, and subsequently locked them in a room inside the house.
The suspects fled with five mobile phones, jewelry, a welding machine, 20L gasoline, and a white Tata Indigo car.
The police and community were notified and responded to the incident.
It has been reported that the vehicle has been found and the search for the suspects continues.
