George Spalding (54), was shot at least four times by a home invader in his Cashan, Rustenburg home in the North West province of South Africa on Thursday morning 6 February 2020, at some time between 03:00 and 04:00. And is now being treated in the ICU of Rustenburg provincial hospital.
             
Spalding was sleeping when he heard a noise and when he opened the door of his bedroom, he was shot several times by a black man. The intruder who gained entry to the house by breaking a window and forcing open the burglar bars then fled with a laptop.                                 

Spalding managed to get to his vehicle and drove to the street hooting to get attention and assistance but none was offered,he then drove several kilometers to the home of friends where he again pressed on his car’s horn. Luckily people there, including his friend, went out of their houses and called for help and assisted Spalding to get to the hospital.

Police is investigating, but no arrest have been made.
