The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane, welcomed a life imprisonment sentence handed down to Gabriel Mogale (36) by the Klerksdorp Regional Court on Tuesday, 16 October 2018, for rape.

On Sunday, 8 November 2015 a 79 year old victim was at home when the accused, Gabriel Mogale, entered her house in Jouberton outside Klerksdorp. He forced her to a room and raped her.
