Two male suspects and one female suspect entered a farm in Renosterspruit outside of Klerksdorp on Friday, December 16. Calmly they told the farmers, Johan and Jossie Pollard they wanted to buy cattle and when the farmer said there was none to sell they asked permission to use a toilet.
Without any warning, the three suspects fired shots at the farmer. The farmer was armed and shot at the suspects, who quickly fled the scene in a silver Toyota Yaris.
There are no further reports on whether the suspects were injured in the shootout and the police are investigating the matter.
