Wendy Nelson, former member of the Executive Council (MEC), in the North West Provincial Government and a Member of Parliament is expected to appear at the Mmabatho Regional Court on 23 August 2019, for fraud. She was released on R20 000 bail.
She was arrested in Mahikeng today following investigations into allegations pertaining to an irregular appointment of a senior official in the Health Department during 2014.
