Four to appear in court for possession of R8k worth of dagga

On Monday, 30 April 2018, four suspects aged between 24 and 70 are expected to appear in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrates’ Court on charges of possession of dagga.

The suspects were nabbed during an intelligence driven operation conducted in Klipgat, Shakung and Jackalsdans on Friday, 27 April 2018 after information was received about suspected dealing in dagga activities.

The suspects were arrested at different houses where the police discovered dagga with an estimated street value of R8000, 00 inside a plastic bags.

The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane praised the community for working together with the police to ensure that drug dealers are exposed and brought to book. She further encouraged the community to continue working with the police in arresting those who ruin the lives of the young people.
