A male foetus was found yesterday morning in a sewer in a complex on Gerrit Maritz Street in Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene at 11h35 after a plumber had found the body in the sewer during maintenance.
On arrival, paramedics found the body lying in the sewer. Unfortunately, nothing more could be done by paramedics.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
