On Sunday, June 25 a farmer was shot in the arm while entertaining guests on his farm situated in Rustenburg.
Three armed suspects opened fire on the farmer and his guests early in the morning. The guests were not injured and fled away from the scene. Unfortunately, the farmer was shot in the arm.
The suspects fled on foot with stolen household items.
The police and community security were notified and swiftly responded to the incident.
The farmer was admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
The police are investigating the incident, and the suspects are still at large.
