A farm attack took place on the night of 21 August 2020, on the Welgegund road, south of the Boskop dam nature reserve, in Potchefstroom, in the North West province of South Africa. A policeman, Henry Zulu, who is a firearm instructor at the SAPS, was attacked on a farm and severely assaulted by an unknown number of attackers.
His service pistol was robbed and the attackers fled. All role players and farmers responded but there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
This was the second attack on the same night within kilometres of each other. Earlier a farmer was shot, he retaliated killing the attacker.
