A farm attack took place during the night on 7 September 2021, in Kroondal, in the North West Province of South Africa. Four attackers armed with a firearm and a panga overpowered and severely assaulted a man (25).
The attackers invaded the property and attacked the man demanding firearms and money.
Three of the attackers then broke into and raided a bar that is on the farm while one of the attackers held the man hostage.
The man then managed to break free and fled into the bush. The attackers fled the scene with a few items from the bar.
The local farm watch responded and the man received medical attention for a number of gashes caused by the assault with the panga. He also suffered a number of other injuries from the beating.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
