A farm attack took place on 10 September 2020, at 21:30, in Buffelspoort, near Rustenburg, in the North West province of South Africa. The owner reacted to an alarm at the lodges and investigated. On his arrival, at least four attackers opened fire on him, he returned fire causing them to flee. All role players, including the farm watch, responded and followed the tracks into the bush.

The trackers recovered a number of stolen items that had already been removed from the lodges. But there were no arrests. The owner was not injured in the exchange of gunfire. There is no other information available at this stage.
