A farm attack took place on the morning of 24 January 2022, at 11:00, in Bamboesspruit, between Wolmaransstad and Ottosdal, in the North West Province of South Africa. The attackers vehicle, a white bakkie with a canopy and blue side sails stopped in the yard while the foreman, Bertus and three farm workers were in the store.

The attackers overpowered, assaulted them and then tied them up with steel wire.

The attackers then gained entry to the house and allegedly stole an unknown amount of firearms, including rifles and cash.

After the attackers fled, one of the workers managed to get loose and went to call for help.

All authorities were informed and responded swiftly.

Emergency medical services attended to the victims on scene.

Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
