A farm attack took place on 24 May 2023, at 16:00, on a farm along the R503 road between Klerksdorp and Hartbeesfontein, in the North West province of South Africa.
The owner Tienie and his wife were ambushed by four armed attackers as they arrived at their farm house.
The attackers who were armed with hand guns overpowered the couple assaulted them and tied them up.
The farm house was ransacked and a number of items including firearms were robbed.
Household items and furniture was loaded on to Tienie’s red Isuzu bakkie.
The attack lasted until 21:20 when the attackers fled in the bakkie.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
