Farm attack averted, alert farmer scares off attackers, Sannieshof

A farm attack was averted on 24 October 2020, at about 14:15, on a farm in Sannieshof, just North of Ottosdal, in the North West Province of South Africa. A man Piet Prinsloo was alerted when his dogs started barking, he then heard the kitchen door opening, when he looked he saw at least one attacker entering the home.

The man immediately made an alarm causing the attacker to flee on foot. It is unclear how many attackers were on the property. All role players responded and followed tracks resulting in the arrest of two suspects. There were no injuries and it seems at this stage that nothing was stolen.

There is no other information available.
