There was an attempted farm attack that took place in Mooinooi, in the North West province. The incident was reported on 8 May 2019. The people in the farmhouse heard a noise outside and saw on their security cameras the moving around of the farm attackers. The attackers were unable to get into the yard because of the security and electric fence.
They were ready and did not go out to investigate, but contacted the security company. The attackers fled leaving behind a panga, rifle with telescopic sight and a balaclava. There were no arrests.
