On Monday, March 27, an elderly man, Richard Stoffberg (72) was attacked on his farm situated in Rietfontein, Rustenburg.
Two suspects assaulted and tied up the elderly man and fled with his Nissan pickup truck.
Stoffberg had no way of alerting the community or police and lay on a bed for four days. Stoffberg was found on March 31 after someone heard him screaming for help.
Stoffberg was severely dehydrated and covered in bruises when he was found.
The police have arrested two suspects in connection with the assault and robbery.
