A Brits farmer suffered under the hands of two suspects who stabbed him with a screwdriver in his head and arm.
Two suspects attacked Marius de Villiers who lives on a farm in the Brits area on Saturday March 4.
The suspects fled with nothing, and the farming community together with the police responded to the incident. Although a search was undertaken, the suspects were not caught.
Marius de Villiers personally thanked the farming community for their swift response and said, “You only realize the value of the bond that exists between the Boer communities after one becomes a victim.” Marius also said that his body is sore but he is fine.
The police are investigating the incident.
