A farm attack took place on 29 June 2018 at 20:00 on a smallholding in Bokfontein in the North West. A man and woman were attacked after three suspects gained entrance through an open back door.
The couple were taken to their bedroom and tied up. The man sustained a head injury from being hacked with a panga and the woman was also hacked suffering injuries to her hands.
Another person that lives on the same premises raised the alarm after he suspected that something was wrong.
The suspects fled with household goods and no arrests have been made. The couple were taken to hospital and were later discharged.
