The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation are in pursuit of four suspects who allegedly robbed a security officer during a routine money pick-up at an ATM in the filling station café in Hartbeespoort on 27 July 2019.
It is alleged that the suspects were in the café when the security officer was loading money into the ATM. They allegedly ambushed him and held him and other customers at gunpoint before they fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Hawks hereby urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects as per the attached pictures to contact the Investigating Officer Sergeant Nelson Qetya at 082 772 8054 or Crime Stop 086010111. Information received will be treated with confidentiality.
Members of the community are urged not to approach the suspects as they are considered armed and dangerous.
