In the fight against contact crime, police in Tlhabane arrested a 32 year old man for the alleged murder of his 29 year old girlfriend on Sunday, 30 September 2018, in Tlhabane.
The arrest emanates from an incident during which the couple were in Mosetlha Street, Tlhabane, when an argument ensued between them. It is alleged that the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed his girlfriend several times in her upper body.
She was certified dead on the scene by Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) personnel.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in the Rustenburg Magistrates’ Court today, 1 October 2018 on charges of murder.
