Another farmer dead, it is not just criminality but intimidation and a way of instituting fear into the white man?
It was on Wednesday, February 8 that Mr. Niels Erichsen (65) and his wife were victims of a horrific farm attack. During the attack, Erichsen was shot twice in his stomach and although rushed to hospital in a critical condition has died.
It was while they were returning from Rustenburg and stopped at the gate on a dirt road to the property when two suspects suddenly overpowered them. The suspects shot Niels Erichsen twice in the stomach. The suspects forced their way into the vehicle and drove to the main house.
When they arrived at the house, the suspects tied up Erichsen and his wife and demanded money. The suspects acted casually, enjoying the food and drink and spending a long time in the home of the Erichsen family.
