The North West Province executive committee announced that Supra Mahumapelo did not resign but temporarily took leave.
This follows after the ANC’s national officials told Mahumapelo to resign otherwise he will be fired.
Mahumapelo wants to lay charges against his opponents who are claiming that he must go, but they said they would increase their demands for his resignation.
