In an ongoing effort to bring down the levels of serious offences, including crimes against women and children, a provincial suspect raiding operation conducted between Thursday, 7 and Friday, 8 December 2017 resulted in the arrest of 301 suspects.
The North West Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane lauded detectives for bringing wanted perpetrators to book.
She said that the arrests will contribute positively towards reduction of crime in the province particularly crimes against women and children. She said further that the police will continue with the operations to ensure the safety of the community and that criminals are put behind bars.
