Police in Pudimoe apprehended a 16 year old suspect for murder and business robbery on Tuesday, 12 March 2019, after a 25 year old victim was found dead inside his shop.
The suspect’s apprehension came after he was seen running out of the victim’s shop by members of the community at Moretele village outside Pudimoe.
Upon investigation by the members of the community, they found the victim lying on the floor with several stab wounds. The victim was later declared dead on the scene by Emergency and Rescue Services (EMRS). The matter was reported to the police who worked hard to track and arrest the suspect on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Taung Magistrates’ Court on Friday 15 March 2019.
