No chance of DA and EFF coalition, say Zille and Malema

The DA and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have denied reports of a possible coalition between them after the May 7 elections. DA leader Helen Zille said a coalition with the EFF would be unworkable because of ideological differences.

“I have always made it quite clear that we will only form coalitions where it is possible to form a coherent government and implement our policy commitments to the public,” she said today.

“This would be impossible with the EFF.”

EFF leader Julius Malema said his party was not in talks with any other political party about coalitions….
