Motorists may be the only people in the country who can expect good news in early 2018.
With the Rand’s strong performance against the dollar, the fuel price may fall on 3 January 2018.
The AA expects a reduction of 34 cents for petrol, 26 cents for diesel, while paraffin can drop by 28 cents per liter.
The decrease will follow after five consecutive increases in the price of fuel.
