The Financial Services Board (FSB) appointed Jan Mahlangu as one of the interim trustees of the Sala Pension Fund and the Municipal Council Pension Fund.
Mahlangu resigned in 2010 as Cosatu’s pension fund coordinator after the union accused him of alleged bribery in the form of a new Audi A4 from SA Quantum.
However, SA Quantum could not be linked to the “gift,” and therefore Mahlangu was not investigated further.
