The Cabinet has approved the National Health Insurance Act for publication in the Government Gazette for public comment.
According to the Act, an attempt will be made to establish a National Health Fund that will provide healthcare that is affordable and high quality.
The state is currently unable to manage state hospitals but now wants to interfere in private medical schemes as well as private hospitals.
Experts believe this is another “scheme” where billions will disappear into the pockets of those that do not care about public health care.
