‘Nation Building’ taking place at the cost of minority groups

Front National South Africa sent out a press release last week inviting interested parties to take part in the 32nd commemoration of the explosion of the Church Street Bomb in Pretoria in 1983.

This powerful motor car bomb was planted by the ANC’s military wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe, and caused the death of 19 people – mostly civilians.

Activists Sunette Bridges, Steve Hofmeyr and Henk vd Graaff will take part in the event, initiated by Front Nasionaal. Pretoria News reported on the event this morning, slamming the intention to sing “Die Stem van Suid-Afrika” – the former national anthem of the Republic of South Africa, by labelling it as the APARTHEID national anthem.

Nasty habit to take apartheid out of the dustbin when it suits them. They quote the ANC (by mouth of Teboho Joala of the ANC in Tshwane) as saying that the singing of “Die Stem” was not in the interest of the nation building process.

As the Nation Building process is taking place at the cost of the minority groups in this country, we only wish to respond by saying: Ons SAL Die Stem SING!!!! (We SHALL sing “die Stem”) We hope to see our people strongly represented in Church Street Pretoria next week, 20 May 2015, at 10:00 in the morning. Enquiries: Wessel Basson – 082 655 5395
