Police in Middelburg closed all foreigners shops and requested that they should leave the town.
This follows after violent protests that broke out in the town after a woman’s body was found in a neighborhood.
A twenty six year-old man will appear in court in connection with the murder.
Looting of stores has occurred sporadically since Wednesday 17 October 2018.
